You’re here because you want to be the best singer you can be. You’re here because you want to find the perfect songs to show off your own unique voice. You’re here because you want a teacher you trust to make singing the fun, holistic, easy experience our bodies know it can be, but our culture and experience too often teach us it isn’t.

Our sessions will be tailor-made to your individual needs, but you can expect to study singing as an extension of speech, techniques to use your whole body in your singing practice, and bel canto exercises that you can apply to whatever style of music you like. I love opera and R&B, hip-hop and Indian classical, jazz and rock and gospel and blues equally - images of muses like Leontyne Price, Nina Simone, Barbra Streisand, and Aretha Franklin will greet you in my studio - and will help you employ technique, practice, and inspiration to make every genre of music as fun and fulfilling to sing as possible.  Can't wait to sing with you!
